Went for a photo walk through Addison with a friend of mine and here's what I got along the way.

I've had this collection of glass plate negatives for a while now. Finally got them scanned in last week. Posted them here for all you to enjoy. Rest of the collection is at http://flickr.com/photos/25999366@N00/sets/72157611799951267/
I used an old Umax PowerLook 2100XL run through a SCSI to Firewire convertor and the VueScan software. The software did a decent job at scanning, had some painful difficulties, but it did have a multiple exposure mode and could output DNG format, which was a plus. I may try and rescan them upside down to see if that improves the quality of the highlights and tones any.

Alright, so after a few changes on the backend (that I didn't notice for a long time because I'm just THAT lazy when it comes to blogging) I have gotten this new system setup.
You may notice the old posts are gone, that is (hopefully) temporary until I figure out how to import the old posts, but probably leave the comments to vaporize in the ether, unless you guys really need medication delivered confidentially to your door with your new thai bride.
I'm also going to switch the structure around a bit so that when you first come to my site you will see a link to a gallery. That is predominantly what this site is for, an online photo gallery of my stuff. This blog will be secondary. I figure I shoot more often than I talk, so I may as well make that the main focus.
